Overall Responsibility :
To pro-actively build the Amanah PFS business by actively acquiring new to bank customers, retaining and increasing customer Islamic product holdings that contributes to the branch profitability by the effective solicitation and selection of deposit, credit applications and simple wealth management products while adhering to Shahriah compliance and the Amanah brand value.
The jobholder's main challenge is to meet his/her individual targets, to work pro-actively with the team, to pass the annual re-certification exam and satisfactorily passing other external exams as required. The job holder will also need to ensure that every effort is made to provide a value added service to all retail customers at all times. He/she is also expected to promote the Bank Amanah brand and has knowledge in banking in accordance to Shariah law. He/she will be the forefront brand ambassador to Amanah.
The jobholder is expected to act comfortably with the mass market, both in the business and social spheres. It would be beneficial if he/she takes an interest in and is well read and informed about local/regional social/economic news. Attendance at some social events, where the jobholder is expected to build up his/her network of contacts, may be necessary.
The jobholder is expected to be flexible with time and job scope in delivering the highest levels of attention to meeting customers’ needs on an ongoing basis through account planning activity (Activity management). He/she must introduce, educate and promote Amanah Products to the target customers differentiating between Islamic and conventional banking. Knowledge/Special Skills Requirements :
• 1 - 3 years relevant experience
-Experience in banking related and wealth management products would be an
added advantage
• Selling through Needs Based Selling
